FAQ

Yes. Telehealth consultations can be suitable for many seniors. Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete a consultation form so our doctors can better understand your medical history and current concerns.

Appointments are conducted via a secure video or phone consultation. No software downloads or ongoing accounts are required. You will receive a link or call details at the time of your appointment. If needed, a family member or carer may assist you during the consultation.

Our team offers step-by-step guidance before your first appointment so you feel confident and supported. If you have trouble connecting, you can call us, and we’ll assist you right away.

Yes. All treatments prescribed by myQuest doctors are legal prescriptions in Australia. Any natural therapy recommendations are made in accordance with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) framework and relevant eligibility criteria.

To be eligible for prescription-based natural therapies, patients generally need to:

  • Have a chronic condition (typically lasting 3+ months).
  • Have tried other treatments that didn’t fully address their symptoms or cause unwanted side effects.
  • Not have a history of psychosis.
  • Not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Your doctor will always discuss suitability, risks and alternatives during your consultation.

Many patients have complex medical histories. During your consultation, the doctor will review your current health conditions, medications, and relevant medical history as part of a comprehensive clinical assessment. This helps inform whether treatment options may be appropriate and ensures any prescribing decisions are made with safety considerations in mind.

Yes. Many patients have a family member, carer, or support worker join the appointment. They’re welcome to be involved, with your consent.

We frequently support families in these situations. If a patient is non-verbal or unable to participate meaningfully, a child or legal representative with Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) can attend the appointment on their behalf.

We just require a copy of the EPA documents to be sent to hello@myquestclinic.com.au before the consultation.
